When I was pregnant, 9 months seemed like FOR.EVER. But while shooting my baby Wild Thing’s 9 month pictures, all I could think was, “where did that time go?!” The time just slips by you …one diaper at a time.
It’s been my pleasure to photographer this little beauty a few more times since these images. But I felt like you’d be missing out if I didn’t introduce you to her. She’s not only easy to work with but a … Continue reading
I was absolutely amazed how alert and smiley little Easton was at just 1 month old! We had a great time and he was so tolerate of me interrupting his naps here and there.
And I just love that his parents bring him back every 3 months – he’s so much fun to work with. And if you think he’s cute here, oh man, just wait! You’ll be seeing much more of this handsome little guy … his next session is schedule for the beach and I’m pretty excited about it!
This little beauty was born 1 week after my son. So, I not only was excited to capture her as a newborn, but I’m fortunate enough to get to watch her grow up as my son’s first little friend.
It always amazes me how quickly babies change, she looks so different now. I still see the “her” I know now at 7 months, but her face is completely changed. It’s my privileged to capture these fleeting moments for another mom. Soon, she’ll be crawling and walking but her mom will always have these images of her precious newness at just 4 days old. And not everyone gets to say their job is to snuggle with babies less than a week old!
Here is gorgeous baby Katarina …
I can’t wait until this little guy comes back out for pictures this summer! We had so much fun shooting this session. He marched right out into the water like he was right at home. We chased him around the beach until we were freezing but it didn’t seem to bother him one bit.
And it always amazes me how fast they grow, seems like yesterday we did his Newborn Session …
Time flies – capture the moments!
Precious Brooke was my first preemie. I was in complete awe of how tiny she was – even at a month old. And she didn’t want to miss a single minute of what I was doing because she stayed awake the entire session. But I pride myself with “going with the baby’s flow” so it didn’t bother me at all. I appreciated her interested and beautiful little eyes watching my every move.
Here are some of my favorite shots from of little Brooke …
This is a face you might recognize. That would be because I’ve been photographing him since he was 7 days old. I love watching my little clients grow up! Last time I saw this cutie he wasn’t walking quite yet … now he’s at full speed!
It was a beautiful day at the beach below the Montage Resort, perfect for shooting such a handsome little man. I’d like to thank his mommy for bringing him out from the desert … it was so much fun to watch his reaction to the ocean waves!
There’s nothing I love to shoot more than a peaceful 4 day old baby. Little Avery may not have slept at all during her session, nor was she willing to be posed, but I’ve found over the last couple of years that it doesn’t matter. Her beauty will be captured regardless. So what if I spend a little extra time waiting for shots that would look like she was sleeping peacefully, that just means I get to spend more time just being with her.
Being gorgeous & maybe just a little head strong may run in the family … check out the last picture of a big sister that wanted NOTHING to do with sitting with the family’s newest addition!
This little one is special to me because she belongs to a good friend of mine. I was so excited to be able to take these for her. Reed got to play with his friends that he missed terribly while I spent time with the newest arrival. It was a great morning!
No better way to thank God for such a special gift then to show the world how beautiful His gifts really are!
Its my honor to introduce you to Lydia –
I 1st photographed this little cutie at his newborn session. I knew back then that I would fall in love with those big blue eyes! All babies are special to their parents but this little boy makes this family extra special. He’s a little stingy with his smiles but with a face like that you don’t need’em! I can’t wait to see him again in the Spring … on the beach!!
Big thanks to his family for always having so much faith in my work!
